If you've browsed SpeedPrint Designs, you've probably noticed something — we don't do white. We don't do pastels. We don't do anything that looks like it belongs on a summer holiday.
Every single product we make comes in five colours: Black, Maroon, Navy Blue, Bottle Green, and Purple.
All dark. All intentional. Here's exactly why.
Automotive Designs Need the Right Canvas
Think about the machines we design for — the Yamaha MT15, the Royal Enfield GT650, the KTM Duke. These aren't soft, delicate things. They're aggressive, detailed, built with purpose. When you put a complex automotive graphic on a white tee, it flattens. It loses depth. It looks like a printout, not a piece of clothing.
Dark fabric changes everything. The ink sits differently. The contrast is sharper. The design pops the way it was meant to — the same way a matte black tank looks better than a stock white one.
We tested this. Light colour ways looked cheap. Dark ones looked premium. Decision made.
Dark Colour ways Actually Work for Riders
There's a practical side to this too. If you ride regularly, you know that light-coloured clothing picks up everything — road dust, exhaust residue, the general chaos of being on a bike in an Indian city. A white oversized tee after one ride looks like it's been through a construction site.
Our riders wear these to bike meets, long rides, and daily life. Dark colour ways hold up. They stay looking clean longer, and they photograph well in any lighting — which matters when you're tagging us from a parking lot at golden hour.
It's Also Just Good Streetwear Sense
Look at the brands that have built real identity in streetwear globally — the colour palette almost always skews dark. It's not a coincidence. Dark tones are versatile, they layer better, and they carry a certain energy that lighter colours simply don't.
We're building an automotive streetwear brand, not a beach brand. The palette reflects that.
Five Colours, One Standard
Black is the default — always clean, always right. Maroon is for the rider who wants something with a bit more character. Navy Blue is the understated pick. Bottle Green has been our sleeper hit — people who choose it tend to be the ones who really know what they're doing with their fits. And Purple? That one's for the ones who aren't afraid to stand out at a meet.
Every colour was chosen because it works with the designs, works with dark riding gear, and works as a standalone piece in your wardrobe.
That's the standard we hold every product to. See the full range at SpeedPrint Designs — pick your colour, own your identity.
